Four games

Four games, ten tables

Ten live tables form the main pit at the resort. Four games are dealt on them: EZ Baccarat, blackjack, Ultimate Texas Hold'em and roulette. How the ten tables are split between those four games is not published, so we did not assign a count to each.

Blackjack takes a Perfect Pair side bet at every table in the pit. A second side bet, called Lucky Lucky, is offered too.

EZ Baccarat is dealt without a commission: the house takes none. The game carries two side bets of its own, named Dragon and Panda. Rules for Dragon and Panda beyond their names are not described here.

The other two

Hold'em against the dealer, and the wheel

In Ultimate Texas Hold'em the player's hand is played against the dealer's hand. A second wager called Trips sits beside the main wager. Roulette in the pit uses a wheel with 38 numbers. Both games belong to the four-game list for the ten live tables.

Chase the Flush, a seven-card stud game, is no longer on the tables. It was dropped after 30 days of notice and is not dealt any more. Players who knew it from earlier visits will not find it in the current pit.

The pit opens at 2 p.m. every day, Mountain time. It closes at 1 a.m. on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday nights. On Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights, the closing hour is 2 a.m.

What is not posted for the tables

Several things about the pit are not published. Table minimums are one, and holiday hours another. No dress code is posted, and neither is the list of ID accepted at the floor entrance. Questions on any of these go to the casino line, 403-342-5825.

Electronic table games are one of the four game types AGLC records for the resort. No titles or count for them are published, so the floor plan shows no dots for them.

Tables at the second room in town

ACE Casino Red Deer, the second room in town at 6350 67 Street, deals 10 table games. Among them are blackjack, roulette, Ultimate Texas Hold'em and baccarat. Its side bets are not part of this survey.
